>  Our mark is a wing. A wing to help us take flight and achieve great heights. A wing to take us to better things.
>  A wing also symbolises the mythical Roman god, Mercury. Mercury is the patron god of financial gain, commerce, eloquence (and thus poetry), messages/communication.
>  The three ‘feathers’ that comprise our wing symbolise the three key elements for organisational success: Engagement; Excellence; Innovation.

Our colour is green.

  • Green is the colour of balance and harmony; critical in both business and life.
  • Green means go.  We’ll help you set the wheels in motion.
  • Green mean growth.  We’ll look to assist in in the growth of your business – the objective is to add significant value to any enterprise.

Consultant or Advisor?  There is a difference.

Sandford.Solutions is an advisory practice.  Where there’s a necessity, we bring in consultants to work in specific sections of an enterprise.
Here is clarification of the differences between advisors and consultants:

CONSULTANT

ADVISOR

Call on consultants when you have a clear cut problem in need of solution.

The job of the advisor is to serve as an impartial sounding board, a sparring partner to help test ideas and then identify the pros and cons of proposed courses of action.

Consultants are solvers of specific problems.

Good advisors, provide their clients with new and often broader perspectives. Advisors are better problem-definers than solvers. At their best, they contribute to strengthening their clients’ capacity to solve their own problems.

Advisors can provide an early-warning about emerging problems, signals often missed by a consultant’s sharp focus on eliminating the problem at hand.
Advisors and consultants carry out two very different roles. It’s hard for one person – or firm – to act well in both capacities at the same time.  Sandford.Solutions works from an advisory standpoint.
